Do Something Funny for Money! Red Nose Day

Celebrate Red Nose Day on Friday 15th March to raise money to bring about positive and lasting change in the lives of poor and disadvantaged people. We see how the money helps people in Africa, but money also helps in the UK, the money raised helps give shelter to young people living on the streets and protection to those living with domestic abuse. There are projects in all areas of the country

Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton took to the skies of Lincolnshire with the Red Arrows for her latest Red Nose Day Challenge on the 12th February. The challenge saw the dare-devil presenter fly with Arrow’s Squadron Leader, Red 1, on the most terrifying ride of her life.

In Lincoln between 10.30 and 11.30am the Drill Hall Skiffle Band will be playing on the High Bridge in Lincoln High Street, all welcome! Then between 12 noon and 2 pm local musicians and and other performers, hosted by Keith Luckey, will be showing off their talents in the Lincoln Drill Hall Cafe/Bar. It’s all free but, of course there will be plenty of buckets for the collection of donations to Red Nose Day!

Why not grab your Red Nose and come and visit us at Stoneacres of Lincoln as we have some fun and help try and make Red Nose Day 2013 as successful as possible!

We’ve got a range of fundraising activities planned at the dealership over the next month. If you’re interested in taking part or would like to keep up to date with what we are doing, check this page regularly for updates.

Red Nose Day is all about positive change through the power of entertainment, and Kia Motors UK will be embracing this mission to raise a smile in the name of charity. Kia Motors UK was the first ever automotive partner that Comic Relief worked with and remains its only automotive partner for the Red Nose Day 2013 campaign. In 2009 the company raised over £100,000 for Comic Relief and in 2011 raised over £180,000. This year we want to top that record!

Not quite as brave as Helen Skelton, but we will of course be wearing our Red Noses and red clothing to raise money to help Comic Relief

red nose day We would love to hear what you get up to raise money for Comic Relief
