Adventures in Printing – Silkscreen

Friday 15 March 10am to 12.30pm. £15. In this session we will design and cut paper stencils to produce bold prints on A3/A4 silk screens. Your tutor, Deborah Horsfield, is an enthusiastic and experimental printer inspired by the shapes, colours and patterns around her. She says “once you start printing you will never look at things the same way again!” Suitable for all levels of experience.

Celebrate Red Nose Day on Friday 15th March to raise money to bring about positive and lasting change in the lives of poor and disadvantaged people.

In Lincolnshire between 10.30 and 11.30am the Drill Hall Skiffle Band willbe playing on the High Bridge in Lincoln High Street, all welcome! Then between 12 noon and 2 pm local musicians and and other performers, hoted by Keith Luckey, will be showing off their talents in the Lincoln Drill Hall Cafe/Bar. It’s all free but, of course there will be plenty of buckets for the collection of donations to Red Nose Day!

Using mini tiles, millefiori, carefully shaped china and other ‘gems’ you will be able to create pendants, earrings, brooches and rings. Four pieces are included in the price of the course with additional blanks available. At the end of the day you should have designed and made four striking pieces to wear. Suitable for all levels of experience.
